(to provide entrance scholarships for students entering the Faculty of Law who have overcome significant obstacles in the pursuit of their studies)

In order to be considered for the Ken Tacium Memorial Scholarship, students must have accepted an offer of admission to the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba by June 30th. Applicants must be undergraduate students who: (1) have accepted an early admission to the Faculty of Law and are enrolled full-time (minimum 80% course load) in the first year of study in the Juris Doctor program; (2) have achieved a minimum adjusted admission grade point average of 3.0; (3) Applicants must have demonstrated courage and perseverance in overcoming significant obstacles (especially, but not necessarily limited to, physical obstacles) in the continuation of their academic studies.
