Eligibility criteria:
Each year, the available annual income, including any unspent revenue from the fund, will be used to offer one prize to an undergraduate student who: (1) was enrolled full-time (minimum 80% course load) in the Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences; (2) has successfully completed either Nutrition and the Elderly (currently numbered HNSC 4310) or Maternal and Child Nutrition (currently numbered HNSC 4340) with high academic standing in the year in which the prize was tenable; (3) has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; and (4) has shown the greatest improvement from the beginning to the end of the course in the areas of critical thinking and logical problem solving and has contributed to the learning environment in the class through class discussions.
