Students must have completed a minimum of 48 credit hours when the application is subnmitted, have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 based on the previous 12 months of study.

Applicants will be required to submit an essay (maximum 500 words) that describes their community involvement and explains what the scholarship would mean to them. Applicants will also be required to submit a letter of reference from someone who can speak to the applicants’ community involvement.
Decision will be based on 45% academic performance, 45% community involvement, and 10% on presentation of the application package.
