Eligibility criteria:
One scholarship will be offered to an undergraduate student who: (1) is enrolled full-time (minimum 80% course load) in the second year of study or higher in a program offered through the Department of Political Studies in the Faculty of Arts; (2) has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; (3) will study abroad, for one or two terms, either on Letter of Permission or as part of a formal exchange program between the University of Manitoba and a partner institution. Preference will be given to students who are participating in a formal University of Manitoba exchange program. Students who complete University of Manitoba degree credit courses delivered abroad by a University of Manitoba instructor ARE NOT ELEGIBLE Preference will be given to students who are participating in a formal University of Manitoba exchange program A student may hold only one J. David McLeod Scholarship in his or her lifetime.
