Eligibility criteria:
Each year, one scholarship will be offered to an undergraduate student who: (1) is enrolled full-time (minimum 80% course load ) and who has completed 84 credit hours in the Bachelor of Science (Human Nutritional Sciences) degree program or completed 30 credit hours in the 2nd degree program in Human Nutritional Sciences, offered by the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba; (2) has declared a major in the Human Nutrition Option - Dietetics Preparation; (3) has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5; (4) has demonstrated personal qualities appropriate for a professional dietitian. Students will be required to provide a written statement (maximum 250 words) to demonstrate how they have met criterion (4). If there are no suitable candidates who meet all of the selection criteria, the award can be offered to the student that meets criteria (1) through (3).
