Eligibility criteria:
Each year, one scholarship will be offered to a graduate student who:
(1) is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in any of the following master’s or doctoral programs offered through the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences:
(a) Human Nutritional Sciences;
(b) the Individual Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Nutritional Sciences; or
(c) the Master of Applied Human Nutrition (MAHN) program;
(2) has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5 based on the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study; and
(3) has demonstrated excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
In order to demonstrate how they meet criterion (3), applicants must submit a letter of reference to the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. The reference letter should be written by someone in a position to objectively ascertain the communication skills and leadership qualities of the candidate (e.g. professor, supervisor, employer, etc.).
