Eligibility criteria:
Each year, one scholarship will be offered to a graduate student who: (1) is enrolled as a full-time Master’s or Ph.D. student in any year of study in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and whose research project is conducted in the College of Pharmacy; (2) has achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study; and (3) has made a significant contribution to their profession, university and community. Applicants will be required to submit the following application materials: (1) a College of Pharmacy Graduate Awards Application form; (2) an academic transcript; (3) a short essay (500 words, double spaced in 12 point font) describing their contributions to the community. The essay should include explanations of why they were involved in the community, their general philosophy of volunteerism and why they wish to pursue a career in pharmacy; and (4) a curriculum vitae. Candidates may be requested to attend an interview and/or deliver an oral presentation. Priority towards Masters versus Ph.D. students will ideally alternate each year. This fellowship cannot be held with another fellowship of higher value offered through the College of Pharmacy. The College of Pharmacy will offer a commemorative medallion, which will be presented to the recipient at the annual College of Pharmacy Graduate Ceremony.
